15.0 Using third Party Apps
15.1 Explanation of the Third Party Apps and other useful
information
Note: The number of available Apps can vary. The Apps are provided by third parties.
The functioning of the available Apps solely depends on these third parties. If a third
party decides to make changes to a certain App or decides to stop supporting Apps,
Eminent cannot guarantee the continued functioning of the Apps!
The Eminent Third Party Apps is the place to search for Apps for your Eminent HD
Media Player!
No difficulties with installing these Apps: Use your computer and just click your favorite
App. By clicking an App, the App will be installed on your Eminent Third Party Apps
account. Once installed, you can use your Media Player to play the installed Apps.
This way, many Apps will be within your reach.
By default, there are many Apps available for your HD Media Player. By using the
Eminent Third Party Apps, you can even create your own Apps and share these Apps
with other users of the Eminent Third Party Apps. The more Apps people create, the
more Apps will become available in the Eminent Third Party Apps.
15.1.2 Eminent Open Source Forum
Eminent Europe B.V. has a large community forum where visitors can help each other
with problems and issues. It is not a replacement for our support desk, but is intended
to be a great place to learn about new developments and to help out users.
The Eminent Open Source Forum can be found at:
http://opensource.eminent-online.com
15.1.3 Support
When experiencing issues which cannot be solved using the Eminent Open Source
Forum, you can contact the Eminent Helpdesk by e-mail:
You can fill out the contact form on the Eminent website. This form can be found at:
www.eminent-online.com/contact
15.1.4 Developer account
If you wish to develop Apps for the Eminent Third Party Apps, Eminent can change
your user account into a Developer account which has more privileges. As developer
accounts have access to system resources to introduce system-wide Apps, we might
require to see your own developed work prior to elevating your accounts’ privileges. If
you do not agree, Developer accounts will not be supplied. Potential developers can
contact us using the Open Source Forum or by e-mail using: support@eminent-
online.com with subject: ‘Developers Account Eminent Third Party Apps’.
