9.4 Schedule a recording
It is also possible to schedule a recording. Using this function, you can select the
channel you want to record, the date and the time on which the recording needs to be
made. Use the following steps to schedule a recording.
1. Use the navigation buttons to select ‘DVB TV’ and press the ‘OK’ button after
which the media player switches to the DVB-T mode.
2. Press the ‘Option’ button and select ‘Timer’. Press the ‘OK’ button.
3. Press the red button on the remote control.
4. ‘Repeat Cycle’ is selected by default. By pressing the red button you can select
whether the recording needs to be made only Once, each day of the week,
Monday till Friday or on Saturday and Sunday. ‘Once’ is selected by default, and
is the item we are using during this example.
5. At ‘Channel’, you need to select the channel you want to record. For example: If
you want to record channel ‘23’, select ‘23’ using the navigation buttons.
6. Use the navigation buttons to select the correct ‘Year’, ‘Month’ and ‘Day’.
7. Use the navigation buttons to select ‘Start’. You can set the starting time of the
recording.
8. Use the navigation buttons to select ‘Length’. Here, you can set the length of the
recording.
9. Press the ‘OK’ button. Select ‘Confirm’ and press the ‘OK’ button to save this
schedule.
9.5 Play a recorded file
Once the recording has finished, you can play this recording. Use the following steps
to play a recorded file.
1. Use the navigation buttons to select ‘Manager’ and press the ‘OK’ button.
2. Select ‘HDD’ and press the ‘OK’ button.
3. Select ‘HDD’ again and press the ‘OK’ button.
4. Select the ‘REC’ folder and press the ‘OK’ button.
5. The recorded files are shown. The files are usually named by the program name
and the name is followed by the recording date.
6. Select the recording you want to play and press the ‘OK’ button after which the
recorder file starts to play.
Hint: In order to delete a recorded file: Open the ‘REC’ folder and select the file you
want to delete. Press the green button on the remote control and choose ‘Delete’.
9.6 Listen to Radio channels
The media player is not only able to receive DVB-T television broadcastings, but the
EM7282 can also receive radio broadcastings. Use the following steps to listen to
radio broadcastings.
